ICY BOX IB-NAS903 è un NAS per HDD 3.5" SATA e collegamento RJ-45 Ethernet 10/100 dotato di FTP Server, Client Bittorrent, Printer Server, Samba, UPNP-AV streaming server, DHCP Server ed una porta USB2.0-HOST. Il box, in alluminio, è completamente FANLESS: importantissimo per sistemi che, ad esempio in ambito home, possono restare attivi anche durante le ore notturne.
Oltre alle già citate connessioni RJ-45 Ethernet 10/100 per collegamento del NAS in rete ed USB2.0-HOST per la connessione di periferiche esterne (dischi usb, pendrive, stampanti usb, ecc...) è presente anche una porta USB2.0-slave per la connessione diretta ad un PC.
ICY BOX IB-NAS903 con il suo client Bittorrent integrato consente il download di file da sistemi P2P senza la necessità di avere un PC acceso. Con il server UPNP-AV è possibile inviare streaming di audio/video/immagini a mediaplayer di ogni marca (con supporto rete), Xbox, PS3 e molte altre periferiche di rete. Il server SAMBA consente un massimo di 16 utenti nella rete.
Il box è dotato di interruttore ON/OFF per comandarne direttamente l'accensione o lo spegnimento.

is a quite versatile HDD enclosure. Connected to the
port of a Wi-Fi router it serves any PC in the network with data from its HDD
(not included). It comes with four servers to manage content in the network.
Samba allows up to 16 users in the network. FTP is responsible for remote access
via the Internet and the UP’n’P AV server enables an ICY BOX media player, an
Xbox, PS3, a webradio like the Noxon or many other media players to stream
pictures, music or videos from the HDD. Finally the DHCP server assigns an IP
address for the NAS903 – if necessary.
